Employee Coordinators of the Year
For companies with under 100 employees: Kyle Ludden, L. Thorn Company
Kyle knew this was going to be a challenging year. Like many companies, they would be running this year’s campaign with less employees. Although he knew it would be difficult, he knew that Metro United Way needed him and the employees at L. Thorn more than ever.
Kyle made sure that every employee had the opportunity to be educated on the many services available in our community. The employee team truly stepped up with an amazing 80% participation and exceeded their goal.
Kyle, we are so appreciative of all your efforts.
For companies with between 100 and 499 employees: Tiffany Johnson, Harshaw Trane
Tiffany leads the campaign with great enthusiasm, passion for the work, professionalism and persistence. She makes sure that every detail is covered and her driving force is the difference each gift is making.
She meets with a campaign team and they set goals together, create a plan to reach those goals and leave no stone unturned to meet them. They hold group meetings, a kick-off and a company wide celebration to announce their achievements and celebrate everyone’s participation. They had a lot to celebrate this year with a 17.5% increase. WOW!

And from companies with over 500 employees: Breck Thomas-Ross, Humana
From the beginning, Breck had the attitude that anything is possible. She did her homework, asked for advice and help then led a huge group of volunteers to make it happen. Breck led her campaign team and co-workers to a 12.5% increase over last year. She saw the areas for growth and went after them. She prepared for each step, implemented the plan and never let obstacles be obstacles.
Breck focused on building awareness to help increase participation and it paid off by a significant number of new donors. She also focused on leadership and Tocqueville giving which had significant growth as well.
Amazing results Breck. Thank you for your leadership.
