2nd Annual Speakers Series, sponsored by the Metro Louisville Department of Public Health and Wellness and the Center For Health Equity hosted by Metro United Way: CLOSING THE WIDENING GAP

October 28, 2008

Social Justice & Public Health

The social conditions into which we are born, live and work have a profound effect on our well-being and longevity. This Speaker’s Series is designed to bring attention to and heighten awareness about these factors that are influencing health outcomes. It is our hope that by beginning a dialogue about these issues, we can move toward the research and collaboration needed to address the social and economic factors influencing health inequities and bring about change.

Reception 5:00-5:30 Speaker 5:30

Seating is limited to the first 100 people who RSVP
