KY First Book Distribution: Results

12.5.08 - Kentucky recently won First Book's "What Book Got You Hooked?" national contest, claiming 94,000 of the 250,000 total votes.  As a reward, Kentucky will receive 50,000 new books to be distributed to agencies across the state that serve children in need. 

In order to receive books, non-profit organizations serving youth in Kentucky must first register with First Book at http://register.firstbook.org/.  The distribution will take place in early 2009.  For more information on First Book, visit http://www.firstbook.org.  If you know of a business or organization with warehouse space available to serve as the First Book distribution site in Kentucky, please contact Angie Ratliff at angie.ratliff@metrounitedway.org or click here for warehouse.
